Job Summary

The Von Allmen School of Accountancy at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer of Accounting to begin August of 2025 or January of 2026. This is a full-time, non-tenure eligible faculty position with an appointment period of up to one year.



An MA, MS, MBA, or JD is required. A PhD in Accounting (or similar) and/or professional licensure (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is desired but not required. The primary job responsibilities include teaching up to four courses per semester in accounting and fulfilling the service needs related to various programs in the school. The Director will determine the number of courses and other assigned duties based on the candidate’s experience and areas of expertise.
