Title:&nbsp;Senior Administrative Assistant Division: Student Affairs Department: Recreation, Fitness &amp; Wellness FLSA Status:&nbsp;Non-Exempt Salary Range:&nbsp;Grade 5: $13.43/hour EEO Job Group:&nbsp;5 E6 Position Summary Provide responsible administrative support for Recreation, Fitness and Wellness Department, including the department Director, Associate Director, Assistant Directors, and Program Coordinators, utilizing skills requiring independence in judgment and organization. Duties/Responsibilities&nbsp; <ul><li>Organize and set work priorities for meeting deadlines and completing projects. </li><li>Answer telephone inquires and route calls appropriately. Monitor department communications (website chat, department email, etc.) </li><li>Organize and maintain Archie’s Food closet. </li><li>Organize and manage Eagle Perks program. </li><li>Create graphic designs used for various projects for the department. Coordinate department publications. </li><li>Order and maintain office supplies and promotional items inventory. </li><li>Assist with building coverage when needed. </li><li>Coordinate website updates and social media. </li><li>Coordinate departmental event and program promotion (campus calendar, university newsletters, TV slide show, etc.) </li><li>Assist with departmental programs. Coordinate catering contracts and rental agreements. </li><li>Coordinate the employment and termination of student workers. Monitor and evaluate work assigned. </li><li>Prepare direct payments, purchase orders, travel authorizations, and other items. </li><li>Compile information and prepare final copy for various statistical reports, surveys, and questionnaires. </li><li>Implement and develop office procedures and standards with approval of supervisor. </li><li>Receive and greet visitors and provide general information regarding office and University policies and procedures. </li><li>Distribute incoming mail. </li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Required Knowledge and Skills <ul><li>High School diploma or GED required. </li><li>Two years of office experience or comparable work experience required. A combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of experience. </li><li>Knowledge of microcomputers, word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail software required. </li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills required. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills required. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task required.</li></ul> Preferred Knowledge and Skills <ul><li>Knowledge of database and desktop publishing software preferred.</li></ul> Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements <ul><li>This position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with 7.5 hour shifts Monday-Friday.</li><li>Start time is flexible and employee may start between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. Once the starting shift time is selected; it will not vary from week to week.
